What Are Rock Slugs?
Rock Slugs are a type of slayer monster that require a Slayer level of 50 to be assigned as a task. They are located in the Keldagrim area, which is home to several different Slayer monsters. Despite being assigned relatively early for Slayer tasks, Rock Slugs have a unique mechanic: they cannot be damaged by conventional weapons unless the player is using charged weapons or a specific method to kill them.
These creatures are aggressive and can deal decent damage if you're unprepared, but their drops are worth the effort. They are a good source of Slayer experience and provide a variety of items that can be sold for profit.
How to Get a Rock Slug Slayer Task
To be assigned Rock Slugs as a Slayer task, you must have at least a Slayer level of 50. You can receive a Rock Slug task by speaking to any of the Slayer Masters, but the most common ones are:
Chaeldar: Located in Taverley, she gives Slayer tasks to players with a Slayer level of 50 or higher.
Sumona: Found in Pollnivneach, she also assigns tasks for those with a Slayer level of 50 or higher.
Duradel: Based in Shilo Village, this master can assign Rock Slugs for high-level players.
After getting the task, you will need to buy OSRS Gold travel to Keldagrim, where the Rock Slugs reside, to begin your task.
